In this issue we focus on the next EU Budget and what it means for expenditures on development and specifically on SRHR and family planning. As the European Commission’s Communication on the post-2020 budget didn’t make any reference to gender, this sends the wrong signal regarding the previous commitments the EU has made regarding SRHR. On this topic, we published a factsheet with our asks and held an event during the European Development Days which focused on fulfilling women’s reproductive rights.
