Connecting the Dots: Gathering the FP/RH Accountability Community
Networking event
Wednesday · January 27 · 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM · Uluwatu 7
Countdown 2015 Europe, IPPF European Network and Action2020 cordially invite you to an informal networking event to learn from organisations and initiatives working on FP/RH accountability at different levels of the policy process.
While there are a wide range of family planning and reproductive health accountability initiatives currently in place at the global and national levels, the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) brings greater urgency to discussions on the future accountability mechanisms required to monitor them. Currently, a lot of information is being gathered through the various existing mechanisms while new systems for the SDGs are in the making. By coming together as a community, we will be able to take stock of the current situation by learning from each other and join forces to prepare for the way forward.
Introductory remarks by Jackson Chekweko, RH Uganda, Beth Scott, DFID, and Sandra Jordan, USAID, followed by interactive debate moderated by Karen Newman, PSN.
Networking will continue during a cocktail reception.
